Chorister Drug and Alcohol Policy

Seattle Girls’ Choir has a no tolerance policy for tobacco, alcohol, illegal drugs, firearms or other weapons, and/or any type of harassment at any rehearsal, performance, event, or activity where choristers are representing SGC.

Choristers found in violation of this policy will be removed from the activity by a chaperone/adult and the parent will be notified for immediate pick-up.  If the chorister is out of town/country with the group the return of that chorister home will be at the expense of the parents.

A meeting will be held with the Artistic Director, Executive Director, and the Conductor of that chorister to discuss the incident and it may result in being dismissed from the choir.
