All Choirs – Spring Concert
June 15 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
A wonderful celebration and culmination of hard work done throughout the season. Join us for a lovely concert featuring all six choir levels.
We are thrilled to be returning to Town Hall for this concert! The major renovation is almost complete and included necessities like seismic stabilization to vital patron upgrades like climate control and new restrooms, we’re overhauling our building for 100 more years of life.
Tickets will open for sale on Saturday, May 18th. Follow this link: https://sgcspring.brownpapertickets.com/
NOTE: All seats are reserved/assigned seats. It is not festival seating like at recent church venues. When you purchase your tickets you will have the chance to choose the seat(s) you want to sit in or let the system choose for you. The diagram provided is laid out in a linear fashion but the hall still has its lovely curved pews angled toward the stage.
What might you hear you ask?
The Piccolini girls are most excited about performing Kye Kye Kule. They are enjoying learning the call and response style, singing a song from a different part of the world, and getting to collaborate with Dolcine! This is an authentic West African folk song.
This spring, Vivissimi has grown leaps and bounds in their part independence skills. Two of their four songs feature three part chords in some spots. These ladies have had a chance to explore Malaysian music with a song about a moon-kite. You may even hear a little bit of jazz in their concert repertoire!
For choir level call times please see the each choir’s schedule in the Members section of the website and Call Sheets will be emailed prior to the concert.
