Carmina Angelorum: Songs for Harp and Treble Voices
December 18, 2016 @ 7:30 pm - 8:45 pm
In the second of our annual Carmina Angelorum (“Songs of Angels”) concerts we return to Holy Rosary where some of the best acoustics in Seattle will highlight the voices of Seattle Girls’ Choir’s Prime Voci. These young women join with harpist Juliet Stratton in Benjamin Britten’s incomparable A Ceremony of Carols and John Rutter’s sublime Dancing Day. The beautiful, ethereal combination of treble voices and harp makes for an elegant concert that perfectly complements the holiday season.
Tickets are now on sale – we’ll see you at the concert!
Juliet Stratton performs regularly as soloist, chamber and orchestral musician. Prior performances include the Seattle Symphony, Seattle Opera, and Cincinnati Symphony. Her numerous recording credits include motion picture scores, video games, symphonies, choral, solo, and chamber recordings. She currently freelances throughout the Pacific NW and maintains an active private teaching studio.
