Laura Calderón first joined the Seattle Girls’ Choir faculty as the Allegra accompanist in 2013. After three seasons, she took time off to earn a master’s degree in music education at Boston University. Now Laura is excited to be back at SGC as the Cantamus accompanist and theory instructor.
Laura is a full time choir teacher at Chief Kanim Middle School in the Snoqualmie Valley School District, having previously earned her bachelor’s degree from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois. In her free time, she likes to play volleyball, run, bake desserts, and garden. She lives in Seattle with her husband Lucas.
