SPRING CONCERT (ALL CHOIRS) CALL SHEET – June 15, 2019

To open a PDF formatted like the email you received click here.

It’s June which means it’s time to celebrate the 2018-2019 season with our all choir Spring Concert! Since we are back at Town Hall there are some changes that parents need to know. So Please take the time to read this full email. If this is your first time at a Town Hall SGC concert we know this looks daunting but we have a well-oiled process from previous years of experience!

If you know your daughter is unable to participate please email me, concert manager. Even if you’ve told your daughter’s conductor so that I can prepare rosters for chaperones and avoid needless phone calls to you.

Change 1 – Parking lot no longer adjacent to Town Hall. Please click here for more information about transportation & parking options near Town Hall.

Change 2 – Chorister Drop is no longer on 8th Ave. See attached PDF for diagram

Curb Chorister Drop will now be on Seneca, heading east, at the West Entrance Passenger Load Zone. Look for SGC sign and chorister escort/greeters will be standing at the curb.

Pull up to curb for drop and a greeter will come to the car door to escort choristers to the entrance and green room.

Changes 3+

  • A large bank of restrooms added to center of lobby level. No need to head to basement.
  • Town Hall concessions are not ready yet so there will be no coffee & snacks for sale
  • No chorister bouquets for sale and no SGC logo clothes for sale in lobby
  • Ticketing & Will Call will only open when lobby is ready at 11:00am

Volunteers are still needed to make this concert a safe and successful for the girls.
See bottom section for details or click here

Dads – Curb Greeter and Usher are great ways to lend a hand. Please consider signing up!

Technical Rehearsal will take place during your daughter’s regular rehearsal at the Choir Center this coming week. Please ensure that your daughter attends her rehearsal(s) next week so they know what the instruction and stage order of choristers is consistent for a successful concert. If you have a scheduling conflict talk to your conductor and let me know. Please help your daughters get sufficient rest during this busy week.

Feel free to email me if you have any questions regarding either the Technical Rehearsal or Spring Concert.  See you soon!  Paula   [email protected]

Useful things to know about the concert

  • The lobby of Town Hall opens to guests at 11:00 when the choirs are finished warming up.
  • Great Hall Doors Open for seating at 11:35 typically 25-30 minutes prior to the concert.
  • The concert starts at 12:00. Allow time for parking as Town Hall no longer has a parking lot. Parking is available at various lots in the area including the Polyclinic (8th & Marion), Marion Street Garage (on Marion between 7th & 8th), etc.
  • The concert will be expected to conclude about 2:10.
