For the last ten years, Marilee C’Strannè has been a remarkable leader within the music community in the northwest. She hit the ground running within her first years as an educator in the Shoreline School District and has continued to develop a strong and stable music program within that community. For the past two years, she has been the choral director at Shorewood High School and Einstein Middle School, and has made a tremendously positive impact on the students and families there. She has also been acknowledged for her exceptional educational and musical contributions to the Westside Elementary Honor Choir program in Shoreline. Marilee is a part of several professional vocal groups including Last Call Vocal Jazz and Wellspring Ensemble, where she has been recognized for her outstanding professionalism and musicianship. She holds a Bachelors of Music Education from the University of Washington, and is currently obtaining her Masters of Arts in Music from Washington State University. When she is not busy teaching, you can find her creating her own vocal jazz charts, exploring the outdoors on a hike or run, or creating fancy and delicious new recipes at home. She currently resides in Lynnwood, Washington.
