With over 25 years of experience, Allan Hirsch is a performer, teacher, and recording artist specializing in music for young children. The winner of two Parent’s Choice awards for his recordings, he is also an artist-in-residence for three Montessori schools in the NW, and he trains early childhood teachers to work with the early ages. Allan started singing as a little boy, both in school and in church choirs. He later studied voice with Maestro David Kyle here in Seattle as well as voice at Penn State University. Allan performs children’s concerts all over the NW playing guitar, ukulele, and Appalachian dulcimer – he has even performed with Pete Seeger and Ella Jenkins! Allan’s own daughter sang with Seattle Girls’ Choir for eight years, graduating in 2007.
Allan last worked with Seattle Girls’ Choir’s Musical Me program in 2012.
