Seattle Pro Musica and Cantamus
February 28 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Cantamus is delighted to join Seattle Pro Musica’s afternoon performance of The Traveler’s Song, part of their New American composers series.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Nilo Alcala for our annual showcase of rising composers. Nilo is the first Philippine-born composer to be commissioned by the GRAMMY-winning Los Angeles Master Chorale, and his award-winning works are performed around the world. We will present the world premiere of The Traveler’s Song, and we’ll be joined in concert by choirs from local schools to sing and celebrate Nilo’s work.
You’ll also hear works by Paul Mealor, Laura Jekabsone, and First Nations composer Andrew Balfour.”
