L&C 12.5.21 Call Sheet

This Call Sheet will cover the Technical Rehearsals and Performance for the upcoming Lessons and Carols concert with the Byrd Ensemble so you have the full picture. PDF also attached.

Technical Rehearsals

Location:  Trinity Episcopal Parish – 609 8th Ave.

  • Nov. 23rd, 4:30 drop off, 6:30 pick up
  • Nov. 30th, 4:30 drop off, 7:30 pick up

Drop off: Please pull onto 8th (we recommend you come from Cherry heading south on 8th towards James St so your daughter doesn’t have to cross a busy corner) and drop your daughter mid-block at the gate and stairs leading into the church. Look for a Curb Greeter parent to drop your daughter off with.

Pick-up:  You may pull up to, or walk up to, the mid-block church entrance and the Curb Greeter will help connect you and your chorister.

What to bring:  music binder and full water bottle, wearing a black medical mask.

  • 23rd – healthy snack for break
  • 30th – hearty snack/lite dinner for break

Parking: Limited metered street parking is available at this time of day.
However, attendance within these rehearsals are limited to chaperones, staff, and choristers.

Regular rehearsal at the choir center Thursday, December 2nd.

Concert Day, Sunday, December 5th

Location:  Trinity Episcopal Parish – 609 8th Ave.

Chorister Call Time: 1:30pm, concert ready

Uniform:  Red Robes & White Cassock, black medical mask, patent leather black performance shoes & nude stockings.

Under the choir robes they should wear something that doesn’t show above the collar and below the hem of the robe because the Robes & Cassocks will be removed and returned to the church immediately after the concert.  Ideas:

  • Wear SGC tee under the robe to keep a little warm, bring pants to pull on before removing robe.
  • Wear an SGC tee and leggings rolled up to the knee.

Please arrive concert ready in uniform with brushed tidy hair away from face, no makeup, no jewelry, no nail polish.  Bring change of clothes (if needed) for post-concert. We’re looking for uniform appearance, no distraction, and no hair dropping in front of eyes.

Music: Please remove all music from your black binder except the Lessons and Carols packet – this will make it easier to hold up for the entire concert.  (You will still need to have your music memorized, but will need your Lessons and Carols packet for readings and hymns.)

Performance starts at 3:00.

Pickup Time: 4:15 pm following the concert.  You’ll find a parish hall across the courtyard still on 8th. Ave. Please check your daughter out with the chaperone.

Ticket information:  Has not been finalized by the Byrd Ensemble yet. As soon as information is available
