Meaghan Leferink joined Seattle Girls Choir as Executive Director in August of 2019. Meaghan comes to SGC with experience in fundraising from the Evans School of Public Policy & Governance at the UW, and a long history of music education and advocacy through her prior roles as Program Director and Director of Community Engagement at Seattle Music Partners. Meaghan received her BA in Vocal Music Performance at Mills College, and her MFA in Arts Leadership from Seattle University. She truly believes in the community-building power of choirs, and has been a choral singer with Seattle Pro Musica since 2012 and an SPM board member since 2018.
Meaghan lives in the Loyal Heights neighborhood of Seattle with her wife Becca, and two cats named Joy and Sparrow.
