Miriam has been involved in music her whole life, and began singing in choir and playing percussion at a young age. In 2011 she received her BA in music and peace and conflict studies from UC Berkeley, and in 2017 received her MM in choral conducting from the University of Washington. Outside of Piccolini Miriam works with a number of Seattle ensembles including the Seattle Labor Chorus, Skyline Chorale, Foundation House Sound of Music Chorus, the Northminster Presbyterian Church Choir, and the Seattle Youth Opera Project.
When she isn’t making music, Miriam loves to dance, practice yoga, cook, and hang out with her cat.
