About Us: Seattle Girls Choir is an organization in which young people are inspired to become the best musicians in the Pacific Northwest, celebrated for their contributions to their community, and encouraged to be their own best advocates. Our combination of music education and youth leadership opportunities provide the 180 youths in our programs aged 5 – 18 with an outlet to express themselves in a world where they are often taught to be silent.

Our Mission: Seattle Girls Choir is a community that provides young singers with a high-quality music education and a place to belong.

About Dolcine: Dolcine is primarily for choristers in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade. All choristers are accepted into Dolcine via an audition process: they are either new to the organization, or moving up from our prep choir, Piccolini. Choristers typically stay in Dolcine for 1-2 years to master foundational music skills. At SGC we teach using solfege names and symbols, and this is where our choristers get their first introduction to these concepts. Dolcine has 3-4 performances per season.
