Sarra Sharif Doyle – Allegra Conductor

Sarra Sharif Doyle has directed the Allegra choir since 2016 and also directed Dolcine from 2009-2013. In addition to teaching at SGC, Sarra serves as the Choir & Orchestra Director at Kirkland Middle School in the Lake Washington School District, where she has taught since 2009. She is also the Choir Coordinator for the district. Sarra has also worked as a church musician for over ten years, serving as section leader, cantor, and children’s choir director for St. Paul’s, St. Clement’s, and Trinity Episcopal parishes. As a professional singer, Sarra performs regularly with the Byrd Ensemble, Tudor Choir, and Pacific Northwest Ballet Orchestra. Sarra holds a Bachelor’s in Music Education from the University of Washington and a Master’s in Music Education from Columbia University. Sarra lives in West Seattle with her husband, Orrin, and dogs, Percy and Annie. Sarra is a graduate of the Seattle Girls Choir, having sung in the program herself from ages eight to eighteen.
