Yu Dong has shown her music passion and diverse scope as a dedicated pianist and educator. She completed a Bachelor’s degree in Music at Nanjing Normal University, China. She then completed a Master’s of Music Degree in Piano Performance at Kent State University and earned her Doctor of Arts degree in Piano Performance at Ball State University, with a secondary emphasis in Voice Performance.
Yu relocated to Seattle in May 2023. As a piano teacher and accompanist, Yu has experiences teaching students of all ages and levels. She loves teaching, and she believes that music builds lifelong learning.
When Yu isn’t making music, she enjoys travelling, going to concerts, and spending time with families and friends.
