Bullying Policy

It is the policy of the Seattle Girls Choir to prohibit harassment, intimidation, and bullying by any means, including but not limited to electronic, written, oral or physical acts, either direct or indirect.

This includes, but is not limited to, harassment, intimidation, and bullying based upon race, color, religion, ancestry, national origin, economic status, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, physical appearance, mental, physical, or sensory disability, or musical/vocal proficiency.

In the event that one chorister is found to have bullied another, a meeting will be called with the Artistic Director, Executive Director, and Conductor of that chorister to discuss the incident. If the bullying was significant, it may warrant dismissal from the choir.
